Network

TMCN stands for Trans* Mutual Care Network. We are a t4t network, offering care to and from trans*, non binary, gender-non-conforming and questioning people. We believe mutual care and interdependency is essential in our trans* communities.
Our network aims to be a self-sustaining and self-organised space where we can learn and allow ourselves to rely on other people and find the support and care we need.

How does it work?

When a trans* person request support, we set up a care team of about 3 to 4 trans* peers that have already signed up as volunteers. These care teams vary in their tasks, composition as well as time frames.

If you want to request support or sign up as a volunteer, please fill out one of our request/volunteer forms or get in touch with us via email!

How it started...

The network was originally founded to support trans* people with everyday tasks and emotional care after medical procedures or treatments. Since then, the idea of mutual care expanded beyond medical support. From walking dogs or grocery shopping to accompanying you to doctor's appointments or having an open ear, we aim to provide different forms of emotional support and try to help if you have questions.
